This episode: Dr. Oleg Daugovish of the University of California Agricultural Extension Service speaks with me about diagnosing plant problems in the garden, with a focus on pathogens and nematodes. We discuss how to take a plant sample to send away for analysis, and a few techniques for diagnosing problems on your own. Dr. Daugovish also speaks more generally about pitfalls to avoid when leasing a piece of land to farm for the first time.
